Unfortunately, I won’t be able to update the Becktionary excessively in the next couple of weeks. I am in the midst of my last academic commitment and it’s driving me mildly crazy. Audio posts are the most fun to me so I will try to treat you with audible candids when I get sick of James Ellroy and Michael Chabon.
If you want to give me academic advice, try this tumblr’s name at ymail dot com - I appreciate any input.
For the time being, try whiskeyclone.net, listen to Beck Hansen’s wonderful records, or plough through the Becktionary.
Last night one of my dreams took the form of a lost episode of Twin Peaks. Needless to say, it was completely fantastic. The basic plot was that Agent Cooper and I found an evil spring in this garage up on a hill. It was snowing and we found all these dead bodies which had been thrown in there. The son of the old woman who owned the garage came and found us and was super creeeepy, but we escaped him.
It reminded me of when in high school I used to dream about finding nonexistent Beck 7”s, realizing that it was just a dream, clasping tightly to them and forcing myself to wake up, hoping they would still be in my arms when I made it awake.
